Who We Are
The Voorheesville Community and School Foundation (VCSF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Voorheesville, New York. VCSF runs on volunteer power and the exceptional support of community members and businesses.
The Foundation was formed in 1999 and has grown to be a well-loved part of Voorheesville. In addition to providing grants to projects and organizations in our community, VCSF sponsors and works with local partners on special events and programs. In essence, we are Voorheesville.
Our Mission
The Mission of the Voorheesville Community and School Foundation is to enhance the educational, cultural, athletic and organizational opportunities of the students and communities primarily of the Voorheesville Central School District. We strive to carry out this mission by:
Soliciting donations and grants from individuals, businesses, other foundations, government agencies and other entities;
Providing grants, or otherwise extending financial assistance and support to the Town of New Scotland, the Village of Voorheesville, or the Voorheesville Central School District;
Providing grants, or otherwise extending financial assistance and support to established tax exempt entities serving in the Town of New Scotland, Village of Voorheesville, or within the boundaries of the Voorheesville Central School District; and
Providing financial assistance through the management of intended donations and expenses for school and community-based projects.
